About Us

Advanced Pools & Backyards was started by Theo Brooks & Nancy Roberts in 2019. While the store itself is relatively new, it's been "in the works" for 25 years. Theo has been working in the industry learning everything about the trade so he can use his expertise to provide customers with great quality and knowledge. Over the course of the years, the whole family -his wife and children included- became involved with the business. Eventually, it was time to open the store.

In addition to his wife and children, other family members got on board with the business too, including his business partner, Nancy. You can find most of the Brooks/Gonzales family employed by Advanced Pools & Backyards in Stigler, Oklahoma. The good news for you, as a customer, is that you'll have access to the entire family when you do business with APB and anyone can help get you the answers you need. It also means that every dollar you spend at the store helps put food on the table for a local family, you're not just helping a big corporation fill its pockets. This is what we mean when we ask you to shop small!

In return for all that our community does for us, we repay whenever possible, especially if it benefits children or other families. You'll find our name in support of the local sports teams, clubs, and holiday celebrations whenever sponsorships are available. From handing out candy to trick or treaters for Halloween or providing a warm place to hang out & sip free hot chocolate during the Christmas Parade on Main Street, we are always here to lend a hand to our community.
